Kate Bullis




As co-founder and Managing Partner at SEBA International, Kate advises Technology, Digital, Consumer and Financial Services clients globally. Specializing in Marketing, Sales and Strategy engagements, Kate has completed hundreds of assignments for start ups, mid-market and Fortune 100 companies. Kate has spent almost 20 years serving clients in need of GTM leadership across multiple industries. Having represented clients in Manufacturing, Retail, Consumer Goods and Financial Services, Digital and Technology clients represent the focus of her work today. Advising some of the most innovative market leaders in big data, mobile payments, communications, digital, consumer technology, storage, and cloud, Kate’s business and customer-facing functional expertise has enabled her to bring top talent to – and often build out entire teams for – these clients. Representative assignments include CMO, VP Product Marketing, VP Brand & Communications, VP Sales, VP Global Strategic Alliances, VP Channel Sales, and VP Corporate Strategy. In addition to Kate’s focus on GTM, she also leads SEBA’s Diversity Practice which develops strategies and programs for corporations seeking to acquire and retain diverse, high performing teams.

Beginning her career specializing in human resources search work, Kate later moved to the recruitment of market research, quantitative analysis, and brand management executives. Before co-founding SEBA in 2000, Kate was Vice President in the Strategy and Finance Practice at A-L Associates. There, she focused on strategy, corporate development, and joint venture search work for Technology and Manufacturing clients including Allied Signal, Cisco Systems, GE and Lucent. She received her BA cum laude from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA.

Kate is a Global Board Member of the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC), chair emeritus of the Americas Council for the Association and is a member of the Nomination and Governance Committee. She also serves on the Board of A Chance In Life, a global non profit organization helping children and refugees. She is also an Advisor with Athena Alliance, an organization dedicated to increasing the number of women on boards.
