Kathy Freeman Godfrey has more than 25 years of experience identifying, attracting, assessing, and recruiting top financial services talent nationally. She founded her retained search firm in 1992, and since that time, has completed hundreds of assignments for senior sales, marketing, and client-facing executives – whether individual contributors or C-Suite leadership. She also conducts assessments as well as searches for corporate and advisory board roles. Kathy works exclusively with investment firms or service providers within financial services – a focus which provides clients with an unmatched depth of knowledge and expertise.

A frequent speaker and writer on talent management topics, Kathy Freeman Godfrey has contributed to articles found in Fundfire, Financial Advisor IQ, Financial Planning, Family Wealth Report, Ignites, and Private Asset Management. Kathy has been on the podium or panels for various conferences including the IAA, Family Wealth Alliance, MMI Sales & Leadership Summit, and the Deals and Dealmakers Summit. She is also a member of the Partners Search Alliance, a consortium of CEOs of national, boutique, executive search firms dedicated to furthering best practices in retained search.

Kathy Freeman Godfrey earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from California State University, Chico. She lives in San Luis Obispo, California with her husband and two children.
